Cabin Baggage
We will provide you with a Cabin Baggage Allowance as part of your ticket. Your free Cabin Baggage allowance is determined by your aircraft type, your cabin class of travel and applicable fare rules. Our Cabin Baggage allowances for adults and children (except infants) are as follows:

In addition to your Cabin Baggage allowance, you may also carry on board:
- a handbag, pocketbook or purse which is appropriate to normal travelling dress and is not being used as a container for the transportation of articles which would otherwise be regarded as baggage;
- an overcoat, wrap or blanket;
- an umbrella or walking stick;
- a small camera and/or a pair of binoculars;
- a reasonable amount of reading matter for the flight; or
- a pair of crutches and/or other prosthetic device for the Passenger’s use provided that the Passenger is dependent upon them.
For operational and safety reasons, our Crew may from time to time, direct that your Cabin Baggage be stowed in the aircraft hold irrespective of whether it is compliant with the allowances and maximum dimensions set out above. Should this occur, your Cabin Baggage will be made available to you on arrival at your destination.
Special items*
A musical instrument stored in a hard-shell case, and which does not exceed the maximum dimensions and weight allowance set out above, can be taken as Cabin Baggage and must be placed in the overhead locker.
Musical instruments exceeding the maximum dimensions and weight allowance set out above will not be accepted as Cabin Baggage unless you (a) purchase an extra seat and the instrument does not exceed a weight limit of 20kg, and (b) make prior arrangements with us or an Authorised Agent to do so before you arrive for your flight.
Child and infant Cabin Baggage allowance^
Children: Cabin Baggage allowances for children are the same for adults.
Infant: There is no Cabin Baggage allowance for infants. However, food and nappies required for infants during the flight may be carried in addition to the accompanying adult’s Cabin Baggage allowance.
