Connecting flights

For passengers travelling on more than one flight on any day the following are the minimum recommended connection times:

• 30 minutes between Link Airways flights;
• 60 minutes between Link Airways and Virgin Australia domestic flights (only if made under a single booking, on the same ticket number);
• 90 minutes between Link Airways and Virgin Australia domestic flights (if made on separate bookings, on different ticket numbers);
• 90 minutes between Link Airways and other domestic airlines; and
• Two hours, 30 minutes between international flights (passengers however should check check-in times with their specific international airline).

Please be aware that under the following circumstances we don’t transfer your baggage between airlines and you will be required to collect your baggage and check in for your next flight at the transfer port:

• If you have connecting domestic flights on separate bookings, on different ticket numbers; or
• If you have connecting international flights.
