How can I make a booking?
Answer :
There are 3 ways to make a reservation with Link Airways. You can call our Call Centre on 1300 851 269 (+61 2 6123 1999), you can book online at our Website, or you can contact your local travel agent.

When can I call to make a booking over the phone?
Answer :
Refer to the Link Airways Call Center for open hours.

Can I change my itinerary online?
Answer :
Yes, you can change some items online, some items can only be done over the phone. To learn more visit Manage Booking.

Who do I call if I have questions or problems booking online?
Answer :

Can my travel agency book my flight?
Answer :
Yes, your agency may contact us directly by phone to book your flights or through our website.

Can I book connecting flights on another airline through Link Airways?
Answer :
No. You will need to contact the other airline directly to make a booking with them.

How many seats can I book in one reservation?
Answer :
You can book as many seats as are available on that flight up to a maximum of 9 passengers. However, for groups of 10 or more people, we recommend you contact our Group Travel team for special group pricing.
Fares

How do I get the lowest fare?
Answer :
Our pricing is based on availability and time. As seats are limited, the further you book in advance, the more likely it is that you will receive the lowest fare.

Do you offer child discounts?
Answer :
Children aged between 2 to 11 years on the date of their return flight or single flight (if traveling one way) can travel at 75% of the adult fare, plus any airport taxes. The child discount does not apply to our lowest price category Web Sale fare or for Unaccompanied Minors and is only available for bookings made directly via the Link Airways website or through an Authorised Agent.

Why are there several fares listed for each flight?
Answer :
There are higher, unrestricted fares listed for those passengers who need the flexibility to make changes, as well as lower fares that have restrictions.

Why can’t I get the lowest fare or your advertised seat sale fare?
Answer :
Seats are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The lowest fare or seat sale fare may already be sold out. Also please note that some special fares are for certain days, flights, travel periods or may require return travel or a Saturday night stay. Please check that your requested travel dates match the requirements.

Your flight schedule lists a flight on this day and time. Why doesn’t it appear on my screen?
Answer :
Flights that are sold-out will not appear as an option to book.

When I started my booking there was a seat available. But when I went to reserve the seat and pay, was the seat no longer available?
Answer :
Our reservation system works on real time and the availability may have changed between when you first checked and when you actually confirmed the seat with your payment. Seats are constantly being sold so availability is constantly changing.
Payment

When do I have to pay for my flight??
Answer :
When booking online, you must pay by credit card at time of booking in order to confirm and complete the booking. Likewise, If you contact our Call Centre, you will be requested to provide a credit card at time of booking.

Which credit cards do you accept?
Answer :
Link Airways accepts the following major credit cards: Mastercard, Visa and American Express.

Is it safe for me to provide my credit card on the Link Airways booking site?
Answer :
Yes. Information you exchange with us online is treated very securely. Our data centers are firewall protected and we use industry standard encryption software that protects your information as it is sent between your browser and our system.

How will I receive my tickets?
Answer :
Link Airways uses a paperless reservation system. This means you do not require a paper ticket for your flight. All you need for check-in is your reservation number and a piece of photo ID (note that children under the age of 18 travelling with a parent or guardian do not need an appropriate form of identification as long as the parent or guardian has one). You will receive a electronic copy of your itinerary as a receipt of purchase and it is recommended you carry this when travelling. You do not require this in a paper (hard copy) format for check-in.

How do I pay for my reservation using an existing credit?
Answer :
Please contact Link Airways to make use an existing credit towards payment for a new reservation.

How long do I have to use my Link Airways credit?
Answer :
You have one year from the date of original booking to use existing credits.
