Fly Corporate is pleased today to announce that from Wednesday 13 September 2017 direct flights between Narrabri and Sydney will commence.  Also on the same day a new direct service between Narrabri and Brisbane will commence.

The schedule will offer direct weekday flights from Sydney and Brisbane to and from Narrabri.

CEO of Fly Corporate, Mr Andrew Major, said that “Fly Corporate has been operating flights between Brisbane and Narrabri with the return service to Brisbane via Moree since August 2016. As we have worked with the Narrabri Shire Council and the greater Namoi community to grow the Brisbane service, we have always been conscious of Narrabri’s need for a service to Sydney. Having recently been able to secure suitable slots at Sydney Airport, we are now able to achieve this goal.  The close working relationship with Council, local business and the wider community has given us confidence that a direct Sydney service is viable and will be well supported”.

In closing Mr Major said that “Fly Corporate has worked hard to bring reliable and affordable air services to the towns and cities that we service in regional New South Wales and Queensland.  Today’s announcement is further evidence of our commitment to bring air services to these vibrant regional centres. Narrabri Shire Council General Manager Stewart Todd said “It’s with extreme excitement that Council can now announce that Fly Corporate will commence Sydney to Narrabri flights from 13 September. This announcement comes after a sustained and unrelenting effort by Council to secure flights to Sydney for Narrabri Shire and regional residents. A number of key staff and myself have been very active in regards to securing Sydney to Narrabri flights. An enormous amount of work has been undertaken over the last 12 months or more, and it is fantastic we can make this announcement today”.
